Halee moved to Denton from Chattanooga, TN in 2008. She grew up in a hair salon in Georgia, while her grandmother in Texas was also a licensed cosmetologist and started doing her hair in the kitchen at a very young age! She’s been interested in hair for as long as she can remember, starting from cutting her Barbie and Bratz hair and multiple failed self-cut attempts.
She studied cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Dallas and has been perfecting her craft since 2014. The Aveda Institute set Halee up for success with intensive color theory and knowledge and that is where she flourishes. Halee’s favorite thing to do behind the chair is lived in colors, from balayage, highlights, grey blending and coverage + beyond! While she is confident in all things behind the chair, she thrives in enhancing your natural beauty and giving you beautiful, low maintenance hair. Halee is certified in Hot Heads Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, and has taken multiple continuing education classes all over the US in everything beauty industry. She truly never stops learning.
Halee’s world revolves around her job, her two sons, husband, and golden doodle. Her entire family is the most important thing to her. Outside of work you can find her hanging out with family, reading or watching trash TV, or on a patio with a drink in her hand! When you’re in her chair, prepare to feel like a friend. She wants everyone to feel beautiful just the way they are and to know that she’s in your corner, no matter what!
